Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of My Daily Devotional & Journal (the "Service"), operated by The LaFoi Group ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

1. The Service

The Service provides a library of daily written devotionals with scripture references and reflections, together with a private journal, calendar tracking and favorites. Today's devotional is available to any registered account; the full library, calendar and journal require a paid membership.

2. Your account

• You must be of legal age to form a binding contract, or have permission from a parent or guardian. If you accept these terms on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or engage in fraud or spam;
• infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning systems, or scraping content;
• reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or share your account access, or circumvent technical limits or paywalls.

4. Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for personal devotional use within the plan you have selected. All software, devotional text, design and branding remain the property of The LaFoi Group or its licensors. You keep ownership of the journal entries you write; you grant us a limited licence to store and process them solely to provide the Service to you.

5. Service level

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Payment and subscriptions

Memberships are offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, at the prices shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your Membership page. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. See also our refund policy.

7. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. When access ends, you may request an export of your journal entries within 30 days, after which your data may be deleted.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

10. General

You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
